Success Program and Academic Counseling

The Success Program was developed to help students who are on academic warning or probation to improve in their academic work. This program provides accountability and assistance to students through the Learning Center staff, resources, and Peer Academic Facilitators assigned to each individual.

Peer Academic Facilitators are selected by the Coordinator of Academic Support Services with the individual student’s needs in mind. The Peer Academic Facilitator meets weekly with the student to assess the student’s specific needs, go over time management skills, and discuss areas of the student’s life that relate to academic progress, including personal, spiritual, and mental aspects of life in college.
