Description
A survey of mass media in society, including newspapers, magazines, books, radio, recordin g industry, television, film, Internet, adver tising, photojournalism, and communication th eory. This course covers the history, economi cs controls, governmental controls, problems, effects of media, and societal importance of the information and entertainment media. Three hours.
