Grace College & Theological Seminary Ceremonies

Two commencement ceremonies will be held on May 7, 2022.  Graduates will participate in the ceremony of their academic school - double majors according to the “lead” (first listed) degree chosen on the graduation application and blended students according to their “highest” (Master’s) degree.  The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.

Doors open to ticket holders at 8:00 a.m., all should arrive by 8:30 a.m.

 

School of Business ǀ School of Ministry Studies ǀ Grace Theological Seminary ǀ School of Professional and Online Education

Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

Doors open to ticket holders at 1:00 p.m., all should arrive by 1:30 p.m.

 

Seating is first come first served. Each graduate participating in the ceremony will receive six tickets to be used for your family and friends. We will also be offering graduates the opportunity to request up to four more tickets at Commencement Countdown (available through the Student Services Hub after March 30).  Social distancing and wearing facial coverings may be recommended depending on the prevalence of COVID in our area at the time. Each ceremony will be professionally live-streamed for those cheering you on but not attending in person.  Please email studentaffairs@grace.edu if you or your guests require special accommodations.

Only guests with tickets can enter the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center (MOCC). Each graduate participating in the ceremony will receive six tickets to be used for your family and friends. We will be offering graduates the opportunity to request up to four more tickets at Commencement Countdown on March 30, between 2:30 - 5:30 p.m., in the Gordon Health and Wellness Center (GHAWC). This open-house-style event provides graduates the opportunity to pick up regalia and tickets, enjoy refreshments, and learn move about the events surrounding Commencement. Graduates who are not able to attend Commencement Countdown, but had their regalia mailed to the school, can get their regalia & 6 tickets from the Campus Store after this event and before April 22nd.  After Commencement Countdown, extra tickets must be picked up in the Student Hub (Registrar's Office) on the 2nd floor of Indiana Hall. 

Those who had their regalia mailed to their home will receive an email form asking them for the number of extra tickets desired. Then ALL of their tickets will be mailed to them the first week of April.

All guests of any age, except children age 3 and younger, are expected to have a ticket for entry to the MOCC. Tickets are free of charge and may not be sold.

Live Stream - Each ceremony will be professionally live streamed for those not able to attend the ceremony.  The live stream will be accessed through the Grace website homepage or www.grace.edu/liveThere will be no overflow location on campus this year.

No rehearsal.  Graduates are to arrive 60-90 minutes before their ceremony to check in and line up.

2022 Graduates Dessert Event 

Friday, May 6 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Westminster Banquet Rooms
Please join faculty and fellow graduates in an open house style dessert celebration. 
Families welcome! No tickets required.

Graduation Roses - Red roses will be available for purchase the day of Commencement at $30.00 per dozen or $20.00 per half dozen.

Photos - A professional photographer will be taking pictures of each graduate during Commencement.  Within three weeks following Commencement, graduates will receive photo proofs by email and mail from our photographer.
