Description
This is a survey of the history of the United States from early Native American settlements to the end of Reconstruction in 1877. Themes to be investigated include religious developments, societal structures, political developments (including Classical and Early Modern European influences), economic factors, and the effects of warfare. This fulfills the history component of the social science liberal arts requirement. Three hours.
