Description
This course deals with the historical background of our national government, including the development and approval of the Constitution. An in-depth study is made of each article, section and amendment of the Constitution as well as important Supreme Court decisions. Executive, congressional and judicial structures along with the various governmental regulatory agencies are discussed. Also included is the study of public opinion as to how it influences and is influenced by our government. This fulfills the history component of the social science liberal arts requirement.
