PURPOSE of The Learning Center—A look at what we can do for you!
The purpose of the Learning Center is to offer students the resources they need to help them improve in their classes. We desire for every student to have a fulfilling and positive experience while at Grace College, and we strive to make this possible. Our staff is committed to giving support to the individual student in order to enable him or her to complete his or her college experience. We help under-prepared students to prepare, prepared students to advance, and advanced students to excel.
Our main objective is to provide accountability and support as needed for the academic progress and persistence of each student.

CONTENT TUTORING
The Learning Center also offers one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in a variety of content areas and for specific classes. This service is free to Grace College students. If you need a tutor for one of your classes, please click on the link to the list of current tutors which you will find in the box to the left of this web page. Please contact a tutor directly through campus mail to work out a time and place to meet for a session. Students may set up one-time tutoring sessions or weekly appointments with a tutor. If you do not see a tutor for the area in which you need help, please contact Calla Andrews, the Coordinator of Academic Support Services, at andrewcj@grace.edu or call 574-372-5100 ex. 6427. She will do her best to connect you with someone who can help.
