PURPOSE of The Learning CenterA look at what we can do for you!
The purpose of the Learning Center is to offer students whatever assistance is necessary to succeed. We desire for every student to have a fulfilling and successful experience while at Grace College, and we strive to make this possible. Our staff is committed to giving support to the individual student in order to enable him/her to complete his/her college experience with success by helping under-prepared students prepare, prepared students to advance, and advance students to excel.

Our main objective is to provide accountability and support as needed for the academic success and retention of each student.

LOCATION:
The Learning Center is located on the main floor of Morgan Library. Stop in any time; we would love to meet you!

HOURS:
9:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The Learning Center computer room is open during the evenings until 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday. You are encouraged to use these computers or this room for individual studying, study groups, or help with homework.

CONTENT TUTORING

The Learning Center also offers one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in a variety of content areas and for specific classes. This service is free to Grace College students. If you need a tutor for one of your classes, please click on the link to the list of current tutors which you will find in the box to the left of this web page. Please contact a tutor directly through campus mail to work out a time and place to meet for a session. Students may set up one-time tutoring sessions or weekly appointments with a tutor. If you do not see a tutor for the area you need help in, please contact Calla Andrews, the Coordinator of Academic Support Services, at andrewcj@grace.edu or call 574-372-5100 ex. 6427. She will do her best to connect you with someone who can help.
