Welcome to Campus Safety

The Campus Safety Department is located in INDIANA HALL second floor room #230.  If using the elevator in Indiana Hall it will be the first office you come to when the elevator opens.

The primary role of this office is to be a service to the Grace College community. This is accomplished through observation, reporting, documentation, and when necessary, taking such action as is deemed appropriate to promote the safety of the Grace Community.

The Campus Safety Department is responsible for the enforcement of all campus traffic regulations, locking and unlocking of all campus buildings, general patrols, fire drills, and tornado alerts, as well as investigating any incident reports.  Safe rides, jump starts, and unlocking vehicles are also done by request.

IF YOU HAVE A POLICE OR A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, DIAL 911.

All other campus-related messages can be directed to the Campus Safety Officer on duty at (574) 269-5344 according to the following procedures:

  1. Speak clearly 
  2. Identify yourself 
  3. Identify the problem and/or request 
  4. Identify the extension if calling from a campus phone 
  5. If leaving a message give a return phone number
